In 1967, he was trained by an industrial engineering group to conduct motion time studies. That experience has helped him in analyzing labor practices in the cleaning industry. Starting in 1969, Gary entered into the chemical sales field, serving five years with Diversey and Ecolab as a territory manager. During that time he trained hundreds of cleaning personnel including state and county health inspectors and university students. In 1974, Gary opened a janitorial supply store and began contract cleaning of office buildings, banks and factories. During the next twenty-eight years his company serviced schools, department stores, health clubs, daycares, hospitals, car dealerships, churches, industrial buildings and numerous office buildings. Service to several Fortune 500 companies included janitorial, carpet and floor care. With years of business experience, Gary authored the Contractor Training and Certification Program. With this home study course, National Pro Clean Corp. has helped establish over three hundred new cleaning contractors in North America. Jan Bid Software Jan Bid accurately calculates bid pricing for office cleaning - takes the guesswork and agony out of bidding. An exclusive feature of Jan Bid is that you can instantly adjust the cleaning times for each and every building. Experienced contractors know that buildings are different, with individual cleaning needs and conditions. You will have three building survey forms, including a Cleaning Variable rating scale for seven major cleaning variables. When you make your building walk-through, you simply fill out the forms. The scoring system asks for a rating of each item on a scale of either 1-30, 1-10 or 1-3. The total score for the Cleaning Variable survey is entered into the Jan Bid worksheet as a Difficulty Factor. |
